Round fence post | Ø 60 x 1.75 mm
When installing a fence, various products are necessary. In addition to a fence panel, such as a twin wire mesh panel, and fastening brackets, you need a post. In addition to the rectangular 60x40 post, at Fenceonline, we also offer round metal posts. We offer the round posts in several different colours. We sell the round metal posts in black (RAL 9005), green (RAL 6009), and grey (RAL 7016). Additionally, we have the round metal post in a thermally galvanized version. This way, the round metal post can be matched to the colour of the twin wire mesh panels.
The round posts are durable and sturdy, ensuring that the installed fence stands stable once it is mounted. The metal post has undergone a double treatment: it is galvanized and then finished with a coating in the above-mentioned colours. The zinc layer under the powder coating ensures that even with minor damage, no rust forms on the round post. Minor scratches or light damage can be touched up with a spray paint for metal posts.
The metal round posts are suitable for various types of fencing. For example, the 6/5/6 twin wire mesh panel with a width of 2 or 2.5 meters can be mounted on the round posts. The 8/6/8 variant is also highly suitable for mounting on the round posts. For a sturdy result, the round post should be driven about 80 centimeters into the ground (using a post driver) or dug in.
There may be situations where the ground does not allow for digging the round posts into the ground. For example, on an asphalted terrain or at a house with a terrace. In such places, we have another solution for attaching the round posts, a metal base plate. The metal posts must in this case be chosen in the height of the fencing. The base plates for the round metal posts are also available in black, grey, and green.
Attaching the fence panels to the metal posts is done using long-lip brackets. Long-lip brackets fit precisely around the round metal post for a neat and sturdy result. We have three different types of long-lip brackets in our assortment for the metal posts:
- Intermediate bracket: attachment of the round post between two fence panels
- End bracket: attachment of the fence panel to the round end post
- Corner bracket: attachment of the fence panel in a corner
The long-lip brackets are available in the standard colours and the thermally galvanized variant. The round post is finished with a cap or cap with hook.
For extra stability
The round post can be secured with our concrete mortar or the quick-setting concrete variant. This provides ultimate stability for the round post and therefore the fence.
