The spacer is designed for mounting our double wire mesh fence panels to 60 x 40 mm posts. The standard set includes a plastic Gecko block and a screw. The locking plate is not included as standard, as it can usually be reused during repairs. If you do require a new locking plate, for example for a different application or because the original plate is missing or damaged, it can be ordered separately.
To install the spacer, first drill a 12 mm hole in the post. Next, position the Gecko block at the drilled hole. Then place the outer wires of the fence panel into the Gecko block. After that, position the locking plate and secure it by tightening the screw through the locking plate into the pre-drilled hole using a 5 mm Allen key.
For a secure installation, we recommend using one spacer for every 50 cm of fence height.
